The damnation game was first released on May 26, 2009. It was developed by Blue Omega Entertainment. The game also has many features letting players to enjoy the game with more fun. Damnation game is however, set on an alternate planet in the early part of 20th century after the Civil War in America has spanned over many decades and also where steam engines replace combustion engines. However, the response to damnation game by the players as well as critics weren’t positive.
Since it’s first released on May 2009, the damnation game did not meet much good positive reviews. In other words, player’s response to damnation game was generally negative. As we consider about the response to damnation game Xbox 360 version, this version has a 39 percent rating on GameRankings. Apart from this the Xbox version also has 37 percent out 100 rating on Metacritic. As we take into consideration about the PC version of damnation game, this version also has not received much good positive response from both the players and critics. This version of damnation game i.e. PC version also has a 42 out of 100 rating on Metacritic. He gave damnation game only 2.5 describing that the graphics and voice acting is terrible. He even said that the gunplay in the damnation game is terrible and one should avoid the game at all costs. However, Dan Whitehead of the Eurogamer also rated the PC version of damnation game a 3 out of 10.
Andy Hartup also wrote about the damnation game in Xbox world 360. And according to Andy Hartup, the game is considerably one of the worst shooters of this generation. However, Junglist and Bajo, who are basically from the Australian gaming show ‘Good Show’ also, shared their opinion about the game. They said that they enjoyed the environment and exploring but felt the A.I. was overpowered and unintelligent, each rating the game 5.5 out of 10. Overall the response to damnation game was not at all positive from both players and critics.
